ZITA MET PLUS 20MG/1000MG TABLET USES –

 Metformin – Metformin is an antidiabetic medicine that helps to control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Teneligliptin – Teneligliptin is used as a monotherapy, in addition to diet and exercise, to reduce high blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Metformin– Metformin belongs to class of medications called antidiabetics.It decreases the amount of glucose absorbed from the food and the amount ofglucose made by liver. Metformin also increases the body’s response to insulin(a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood).

Teneligliptin – Teneligliptin is an anti-diabetic drug that belongs to a class of medications called as dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It works by decreasing the blood glucose levels thereby controlling diabetes.
