TACMOD FORTE OINTMENT

USES –It is used to treat atopic dermatitis (dry and itchy skin; also called eczema) of moderate to severe grade.

WORKS- Tacrolimus topical belongs to a class of medications called as immunomodulating agents. It works by treating atopic dermatitis by blocking calcineurin, a chemical responsible for activation of the inflammation in skin causing redness and itching.

HEALTH ADVICE-

-Children < 16 must not use.-

Do not allow tacrolimus to come in contact with your eyes, mouth or other inner skin layer (mucous membranes). In case of accidental contact, wash immediately with cool water.
