How does Poxet tablet work?

Poxet Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the level of serotonin in the nervous system to increase the time taken to ejaculate and improve control over ejaculation.

Before taking this tablet

Poxet Tablet should only be taken 1 to 2 hours before sexual activity is anticipated.

It should be used with caution in patients with history of seizures, depression and other psychiatric disorders.

Taking Poxet with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Tranylcypromine (Oral Route) Life-threatening

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Tranylcypromine. If Dapoxetine is essential, ensure a gap of at least 2 weeks after discontinuing Tranylcypromine. Please consult your doctor.

Itraconazole (Oral Route) Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Itraconazole. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.

Atazanavir (Oral Route) Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Atazanavir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.

Darunavir (Oral Route) Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Darunavir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.

Indinavir (Oral Route) Severe

Do not consume Dapoxetine with Indinavir. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.
