It is used for erectile dysfunction (impotence). Erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection long enough to perform sexual intercourse.

Mechanism of action:-

Sildenafil –  Sildenafil acts by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby increasing blood flow through the penis when sexually excited. It also widens and relaxes the blood vessels in the lung decreasing the blood pressure in the lungs.

Dapoxetine – Dapoxetine belongs to a class of medications called short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It increases the time it takes to ejaculate and can improve the control over the ejaculation.
