Evoxil 500mg Capsule is a penicillin-type of antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is effective in infections of the throat, ear, nasal sinuses, respiratory tract (eg. pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, and typhoid fever.

Evoxil 500mg Capsule is also used to prevent infection of the heart valves (bacterial endocarditis) in people with pre-existing heart disease.
