CILACAR TC 40/10/12.5 MG TABLET  USES –

Telmisartan– Telmisartan belongs to a class of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure, prevention and treatment of heart attack (myocardial Infarction) and heart failure; when heart is unable to pump sufficient blood. It is also used for kidney failure in patients with diabetes.

Cilnidipine – Cilnidipine is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (essentia hypertension).

Chlorthalidone – Chlorthalidone is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), heart failure, and to reduce the fluid retention that occurs with some kidney or liver diseases (edema), and to treat a condition in which an individual produces large amounts of dilute urine and is constantly thirsty (diabetes insipidus).

CILACAR TC 40/10/12.5 MG TABLET  WORKS –

Telmisartan- Telmisartan blocks the action of a substance (angiotensin II) responsible for narrowing of the blood vessels. It relaxes the blood vessels; thereby lowering blood pressure.

Cilnidipine –  Cilnidipine belong to a class of medications called calcium channel blockers. It blocks the activity of calcium channels present in the blood vessels and heart muscles, and works by relaxing the blood vessels so the heart does not have to pump as hard. It also increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart.

Chlorthalidone – Chlorthalidone belongs to class of medications called thiazide diuretics. It acts by increasing excretion of sodium and potassium in the urine, which causes elimination of the excess water from body.
