WAKLERT 250 MG TABLET USES  –

Armodafinil is used to treat excessive sleepiness in patients suffering from sleep/wake disorders such as narcolepsy (excessive daytime sleep), obstructive sleep apnea (OSA, lack of restful sleep due to shallow/paused or infrequent breathing during sleep) or shift work sleep disorder (difficulty in falling/staying asleep during scheduled sleeping hours or difficulty in staying awake during scheduled working hours in those who work in night/rotating shifts).

WAKLERT 250 MG TABLET WORKS –

Armodafinil is a wakefulness-promoting agent. The exact mechanism of action of armodafinil is not known, however, it is likely to stop the transfer and absorption of a chemical called dopamine in brain. It is also likely to increase certain signals in the brain and thus, exert a wakefulness-promoting effect.
