Softee plus helps is smooth movement of the bowels. It is a solution of magnesim hydroxide 3.75 mL, liquid paraffin 1.25 mL and sodium picosulphate 3.3 mg/15mL.
CONTENT’S KEY FEATURES->
Magnesium hydroxide is an antacid which lowers the hyperacidity in stomach and also increases water in the intestine thereby acting as a laxative.
Liquid paraffin softens the stools and helps in bowel movements.
Sodium picosulfate is converted by the bacteria in intestine to an active form which stimulates bowel movements by peristalsis.
The solution can be used to relieve constipation.
Other uses:
As a laxative, purgatives before diagnostics or for post-operative conditions.
For relief of constipation in patients with cardiovascular disease, hernia and anorectal disorders.
HOW TO USE->
Dose should be taken at bedtime preferably with water or as directed by the physician.
