Its Uses:-

To reduce high blood sugar (glucose) levels in people with diabetes mellitus. Insulin degludec is used to treat type 1 diabetes (condition in which the body does not produce insulin [a hormone that controls blood sugar levels]) and type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally).

To treat type 1 diabetes (wherein the body because of lack of insulin production cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood) and type 2 diabetes (wherein body due to its inability to use insulin normally cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood).
