Chloramphenicol(NA)

ITS USED IN–>

Chloramphenicol is used to treat severe life-threatening infections, particularly those caused by Haemophilus influenzae and typhoid fever. It is also used to treat certain eye infections. It is also used in the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections of the outer ear.

WORK MECHANISM–>

Chloramphenicol is a potent broad spectrum antibiotic which has activity against many types of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It works by killing or slowing the growth of sensitive bacteria.

NORMAL EFFECTS–>

Nausea, Allergic reaction, Joint pain, Infection, Burning sensation, Diarrhoea, Fever, Hypersensitivity reaction, Grey baby syndrome, Irritation, Itching, Skin inflammation, Rash, Stinging sensation, Tongue inflammation, Vomiting, Skin swelling, Eye swelling
Dexamethasone(NA)

ITS USED IN–>

Dexamethasone is used to treat various inflammatory conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, or breathing disorders. It is also used to treat certain types of cancer.

WORK MECHANISM–>

Dexamethasone belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It prevents late phase allergic reactions by preventing release of chemicals responsible for allergy.

NORMAL EFFECTS–>
