MPB TABLET

Mpb 1 Tablet is used to treat hair loss in men. It is used to increase hair growth and prevent further hair loss with male pattern baldness (gradual thinning of hair with receding hairline or thinning on the top of the head). This medicine is not indicated in women and children.

USES -Finasteride is used to relieve symptoms of elarged prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). It is also used for treatment of male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia)

WORK – Finasteride belongs to class of medications called 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It acts by inhibiting conversion of testosterone into the more potent androgen, dihydrotestosterone. This leads to reduction in prostate size, with improvement in urinary flow rate and in obstructive symptoms. It also reduces androgen activity in the scalp that stops hair growth.
