USES – Mometasone is used to treat used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. It is also used to relieve symptoms of hay fever, allergies of nose and nasal polyps (fleshy swelling inside the nose). & Salicylic acid is used to treat skin diseases like warts on hands and feet, acne and blemishes the skin. It is also used in other skin conditions such as psoriasis (inflammatory disease of skin causing patches of redness), dandruff, calluses, corns and diseases which cause skin dryness or scaling.

WORK – Mometasone belongs to a category of drugs called as corticosteroids. It works by reducing the production of substances in the body that cause inflammation and allergies. & Salicylic acid belongs to a class of medication called keratolytics. It works on reducing swelling and redness and thus causing pimples to shrink. It also loosens and softens the dry, scaly skin thus causing it to peel off.
