Flustate 150mg Tablet is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, vagina, and other parts of the body including fingernails and toenails. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane thereby stopping the growth of fungi.
Take Flustate 150mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole and you can take it with or without food. The specific dosage and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on the condition being treated. In some cases, the treatment may involve cycles of use and non-use.
For optimal results, take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals and continue using it until you finish the entire prescription, even if your symptoms improve after a few days. Stopping the treatment prematurely may cause the infection to return, and missing doses can increase the risk of developing infections that are resistant to further treatment.
If the infection does not improve or worsens, inform your doctor. Additionally, avoid taking antacid treatments within one hour before or two hours after taking the medication to ensure its effectiveness. Always follow your doctor’s instructions carefully for safe and effective treatment.
