Description—>

This medication is used for a short time to treat occasional constipation. It is a laxative (osmotic-type) that is thought to work by drawing water into the intestines, an effect that helps to cause movement of the intestines.

This medication is also used to treat symptoms caused by too much stomach acid such as heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion. It is an antacid that works by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach.

It works by—>

Neutralizing the excess acid produced in stomach thereby providing relief from indigestion and associated discomfort. It also increases water retention in the large intestine and stimulates muscle movement thereby helping soften and release stool.

• Drink adequate water during use of milk of magnesia.
• Consult your doctor and follow doctor’s advice regarding use in children below 3 years of age.
• Seek immediate medical attention if you experience diarrhea (especially in children or elderly).
• Do not use for more than three consecutive days for treatment of constipation or more than fourteen consecutive days for treatment of acidity.
• Contact your doctor immediately if you experience muscle weakness, slow or irregular heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, mood changes such as confusion, decreased urination, dizziness, extreme thirst, dry mouth, and stomach pain, blood in stools, nausea, vomiting, or sudden reddening of skin.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

How to store—>

Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless the packaging or storage instructions clearly require you to do that. Keep medicines away from children and pets to prevent them from accidental consumption.
Do not flush medicines down the toilet or pour them into drainage unless specifically instructed to do so. Medicines discarded in this manner will enter the natural environment or be consumed by wildlife. This can cause irreparable environmental damage. It’s Usage (Kindly consult your physician before usage) —>

Take this product by mouth as directed. For the chewable form, chew thoroughly before swallowing. For the liquid form, shake the bottle well before each dose. Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose. If you are taking this medication for constipation, drink a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) with each dose.
