Cypomak is a brand of Cyprohepatdine, Tricholine citrate and Sorbitol.

Cypropheptadine is an antihistamine, which frequently has the side effects of increase in hunger. It is started to help jump start a person’s appetite. Cyproheptadine is currently clinically used as an appetite stimulant for children with failure to thrive without underlying organic disease. The mechanism of action is related to appetite stimulation, although a decrease in physical activity resulting from the sedative effect of the drug may contribute to a small degree.
Tricholine citrate contains three molecules of choline. Due to choline`s lipotropic action, it is useful in the treatment of fatty infiltration and cirrhosis of liver. Choline converts fat into phospholipids like, lecithin, which is essential to biomembrane structure and its function. Lecithin is also a major component of high density lipoprotein (HDL), and is used to mobilize cholesterol from cell membrane. In patients with fatty liver, increased rate of phospholipid turnover has been observed following administration of choline.
