Biors Powder consists of anhydrous Dextrose, Potassium chloride, Sodium chloride, and Sodium citrate.
Potassium chloride is an essential mineral for good organ function and body, prescribed in hypokalemia and required for several functions in the body.
Sodium chloride is a salt supplement used to treat low sodium. Ions of sodium and chlorine are the major inorganic components of the extracellular fluid, maintaining an appropriate osmotic pressure of blood plasma and extracellular fluid.
Biors Powder solution is used as sterile solutions, electrolytes in chronic salt-losing conditions (diarrhea or vomiting), prevention of muscle cramps during routine hemodialysis, oral hygiene as mouthwash, replacement of fluid and electrolytes, hypernatremia, nasal congestion, irrigation of the bladder, eye, general skin and wound cleansing.
Biors Powder is also used to prevent or to treat low blood levels of potassium i.e. hypokalemia.
