Ofloxacin(200 mg)
ITS USES–>
Ofloxacin is used to treat bacterial infections including upper and lower urinary tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections and sexually transmitted infections (of urethra and cervix).
WORK MECHANISM–>
Ofloxacin belongs to the group of medicines called 4-fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It acts by killing the bacteria that cause infection.
NORMAL SIDE EFFECTS–>
Vomiting, Nausea, Abdominal pain, Constipation, Diarrhoea, Dizziness, Dry mouth, Altered taste, Fatigue, Flatulence, Headache, Loss of appetite, Irritation in urethra, Vaginal burning sensation, Vaginal itching, Irritation in vagina, Pain in vagina, Pain in urethra, Burning sensation in urethra
Ornidazole(500 mg)
ITS USES–>
Ornidazole is used in the treatment of infections of vagina, urinary tract, intestine and other parts of the body caused by anaerobic bacteria (bacteria that do not use oxygen) or protozoa (amoeba or single-celled parasites). It is also used to prevent these infections during surgical procedures.
WORK MECHANISM–>
Ornidazole is an antibiotic (anti-bacteria and anti-protozoal) drug belonging to the class of imidazole derivatives. It interacts with DNA inside the microorganism to cause protein synthesis inhibition and cell death.
NORMAL SIDE EFFECTS–>
Vomiting, Nausea, Numbness, Tingling sensation, Allergic reaction, Itching, Redness of skin, Altered taste, Convulsion, Diarrhoea, Fatigue, Dizziness, Sleepiness, Headache, Tremor, Vertigo
